Mr. Ilias Kanchan started his carrier as a film actor in the lead role of the film Bashundhara which got national recognition. After that he acted in many films like; Parinita ,Shasti and many others. He acted in BederMeyeJosna, which was one of the top grossing films in Bangladesh’s history. He is also a film director and producer. He has been awarded by many festivals and events. He has been bestowed with the Mohan Ekushe Padak, the second highest civilian honor for his Social Work by the Government of Bangladesh.

Ms. Yasi Qin

Ms. Maggie Qin (Yasi Qin) is an actress, model, and TV show host. Maggie Qin graduated in Real Property Assessment from the University of British Columbia. After starring in her first leading role in the short film, Flushing Flesh (2015), she was nominated for Best Actress in Hollywood Dreamz Film Festival. She won awards for best actress, got nominated and has been in honorable mention. As a popular actress in China, she was invited as the guest Judge and co-host for the singing competition show Up Idol.

Mr. François d'Artemare established in 2001 the French film company Les Films de l’Après-Midi. He produced features and shorts films from all over the world: Snow, Djeca by Aida Begic, The Strange Case of Angelica by Manoel de Oliveira, Montanha by João Salaviza, One Floor Below by Radu Muntean, Saint George by Marco Martins. He develops now the films by Zhengfan Yang, Colombe Schneck, Christophe Fonseca. In 2019 will be released in France Fatima by João Canijo and Alice T by Radu Muntean. The company is currently in post-production of Made in Bangladesh by Rubaiyat Hossain.

Mr. Magnus Meyer Arnesen

Mr. Magnus Meyer Arnesen

Mr. Magnus Meyer Arnesen graduated from the Polish National Film School in Lodz in 2010. He has won numerous international awards for his films and was nominated for an Amanda in 2011. In 2017 he finished his second masters degree from the Norwegian film school and in 2018 his first feature film, As I Fall premiered in cinemas in Norway. His debut feature has received great reviews and starts its festival life in the feature debut competition in Black Night film festival in Tallinn in November. Meyer Arnesen is currently developing his second feature film.

Mr. Jovan Markovic is a prominent filmmaker, screenwriter and producer of about 30 feature films as well as hundreds of documentaries from Serbia. He has won numerous domestic and international awards. He is a founder of the film festival in Belgrade, and vice president of the sports film festival and one of the founders of the Golden Knight festival in Moscow, Russia.

Ms. Rubaiyat Hossain

Ms. Rubaiyat Hossain

Ms. Rubaiyat Hossain is one of Bangladesh’s handful of female filmmakers. Her film Under Construction (2015) premiered at New Directors Showcase at Seattle International Film festival and was the opening film at Dhaka International Film Festival 2016. Hossain uses a feminist lens in cinema. Currently she is completing her third feature film Made in Bangladesh, a Bangladesh-France-Denmark-Portugal joint production. She lives between Dhaka and New York making films and attending Tisch School of Arts at New York University in Cinema Studies.

Ms. Zerifa Wahid is one of the most prominent artists from Assam, India. She is also the Creative Director of Easterly Entertainment pl. She began her acting career in Cinema in 1990 as a Child Artist with the Assamese film 'Abhimaan'. Under 'Zerifa Wahid Productions' she has been consistently producing critically acclaimed plays every year. She has been felicitated several times at the highest levels for her excellence as an Artiste. The film 'KothaNodi' where Zerifa played one of the main roles was highly acclaimed internationally and screened in many international film festivals.

Ms. MakfireMiftari is an actress and producer from Kosovo. She studied acting for theatre and film at the Fine Arts Academy of Prishtina where she got an MA in performance. She appeared as a lead actress in many award winning films including Amel (2014), A month (2017), I’Father (2018). Some of her noted work as an executive producer is the feature film I’Father( 2018), ”Bread, salt and heart”(2017) documentary film. MakfireMiftari is an executive director of the International Film Festival “Goddess on the throne” in Prishtina since 2014.

Dr. Maja Bogojević is a film theorist/critic, founder and editor-in-chief of the first Montenegrin film magazine, Camera Lucida, founder and President of Fipresci national section of Montenegro, member of FEDEORA and UPF. She has participated at numerous international academic conferences and film festivals, including Fipresci jury at 2013 Cannes Film festival and Fedeora jury at 2017 Venice film festival.. Her first book Cinematic Gaze, Gender and Nation in Yugoslav film: 1945-1991(based on her Ph.D. thesis) was published in 2013.

Ms. Amita Shankar is a renowned name on the British-Asian theatre and cultural scene. She has been active across the Arts and Entertainment panorama both as a business entrepreneur as well as being an artiste herself, acting on stage. Among her various achievements, Amita is Creative Director of ORZU Arts, the London-based Central Asian festival. She is also an accomplished actor and champion of Women and Cinema and led a highly acclaimed conference on this topic in London in July 2018 as part of the Rainbow Film Festival as well as producing a one-act play SHE, The Shakti.

Mr. Enamul Karim Nirjhar is a filmmaker, architect and designer, photographer and song composer. He achieved KODAK FIAP National Award for photography 1993, Architect of the Year Award 2007 in India for designing the Head Office of British American Tobacco Bangladesh, Excellence in Architecture Award by IAB. Along with this he made documentary TINI- THE ARCHITECT on Architect Mazharul Islam and also a full length fiction film ‘AHA!’ which won National Award in three different categories in 2007 and was Bangladesh’s submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2007.

Archbishop Luigi Bressan: His Grace, Archbishop Luigi Bressan, was born in 1940 in Italy. Archbishop Bressan served as a priest in Trento Italy for two decades before being appointed and ordained Archbishop of Severiana, Italy, in 1989. Archbishop Bressan was named and installed Archbishop of Trento, his original Parish home, in 1999. In addition to his role as Archbishop, Bressan was also appointed delegate and nuncio to several regions outside of Italy, including Pakistan, Thailand, Laos and Singapore. In his interactions with Christian and Inter-religious communities in these areas, Archbishop Bressan likely developed his interfaith consciousness.

She also established the independent “DOZ” Entertainment production and commenced their artistic career. She worked on many TV and stage programs that were praised by customers or audiences. She won M Academy awards “Best Supporting Actress” in 2012 and the “Best Actress” award in 2013. She was also the winner of the TV show “Dancing with Stars” held in 2012. Won global award best actress in 2016 Delhi Noida international film festival, India.

Ms. Milyausha Aytuganova, is an actress, producer and the Executive Director of the Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema, Tatarstan, Russia. She is the associate professor of the Department of Electronic Media and Information of the Federal University of Kazan. She is also the head of the department of film and Television Direction of the Kazan State Institute of Culture (Tatarkino).

Ms. Yoo Young Uee, a Buddhist monk is the current chairman of the board of UNICA KOREA International Film Festival. She was a NETPAC Award jury at the Moscow IFF.She has produced and directed 92 films including and has been invited and awarded 71 times, including the Best Director at the numerous film festivals such as Moscow IFF and Belgrade IFF.She held a master class at Belgrade IFF, Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema and so on.

Mr. Rafiquzzaman is a Journalist, Film maker, screenwriter, critic and socio-cultural activist. He completed film appreciation course in 1973 in Dhaka Film Institute under the guidance of famous filmmaker, critic, author, teacher and freedom fighter AlmagirKabir. He started his career as journalist in Bengali daily ‘Purbodesh’ in 1968. After Liberation war he joined in weekly ‘Charmpatra’, then daily ‘Janapad’. From 1975, he worked in Cine Weekly, ‘Purbani’ then daily ‘Ittefaq’. He is a film society activist and active member of cultural and social welfare organizations.

Mr. Pierre-Simon Gutman is deputy editor of magazine L'Avant Scene Cinéma. After sudyinglitterature at La Sorbonne, he wrote his PHD thesis on the American film maker Michael Cimino. He has written for 3 Couleurs, Les Fiches du Cinéma and Eclipse(s). He teaches cinema at l'ESRA in Paris and Bruxelles, after having previously taught at the universities Paris VII and Nancy 2. He has also directed several short features, and was for many years a programmer for the Critic's week of the Cannes film festival.
